SAN ANTONIO-- SCREAM magazine was founded in 2006. Jesse Camarillo came up with the idea after being unable to successfully report allegations of sexual abuse involving children in another county.

Camarillo fell on hard times a few years ago and was unable to publish SCREAM. Recently he secured a $5000 grant and the first issue is now available. It's full of faces of men and women who now have to register as sex offenders.

The disabled Vietnam Veteran is still homeless, but he's on a mission to help protect children. He works out of a small office, and plans to print about 3000 copies each month.

He's also adding information in the magazine to help the homeless population. And what's a magazine without Interviews, Entertainment, Fashion and Ads? Camarillo manages to get a little bit of everything into the small publication.

The magazine is free. For more information call (210) 291-8225.
