GPS is not only useful when driving in a strange city, but it might also get you a date!
It's a new social trend called GPS dating, and it works through phone apps like Skout, Grindr and Streetpark.
The phone applications give a list of daters based on where you are.
When a potential date is nearby -- at the same concert, for example -- you get an alert and can browse their profile. If you like what you see, that can lead to direct messages and a chance to meet up.
Some dating experts are concerned with the idea of people giving their locations to strangers.
But the Skout app reportedly already has 1 million users.
