EXECUTIVE NEWS DIRECTOR
KENS 5 Television, Inc., the Belo Corp.-owned CBS affiliate in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced executive news director. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with the highest journalistic standards and will possess sharp leadership skills to direct one of the nation’s most well-known television news organizations.
Responsibilities include supervising news employees, managing department budget, working with consultants on research projects, special projects and assignments, and representing the News Department to external groups.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years experience in television news, including experience in a major market. In addition, candidate must possess excellent communications skills, have the ability to articulate a clear vision and have a proven ability to recruit and retain the best journalists to perform at a high level. This position requires teamwork, creative thinking and problem solving, as well as successful financial and resource management skills.

PRODUCER - NEWS
KENS 5 Television, Inc., the Belo Corp.-owned CBS affiliate in San Antonio, is currently seeking a journalist capable of producing strong content across multiple platforms.
Duties will include producing newscasts, gathering and researching stories, writing and coordinating crews in the field, and contributions to social media. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience producing newscasts; a college degree is required.
The position may involve working an irregular schedule that may include weekends, overnights and holidays. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a passion for news and a desire to be part of a team that is committed to winning.

DIGITAL SALES SPECIALIST
The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for driving direct digital revenue to the station while working with the TV sales team to generate integrated digital revenue. A successful digital seller will outperform the market by smartly planning, prospecting, delivering presentations and closing new business on a consistent basis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years in online selling experience, a strong understanding of effective online marketing strategies and products. Also, college degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCED ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
KENS Television, Inc., part of the Belo Corporation, is currently recruiting an Experienced Account Executive. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. The sales account executive is responsible for selling multi-platform initiatives, including internet sales, new business development, and maximizing shares of existing accounts.
The ideal candidate must be able to creatively prospect and close marketing sales packages by presenting presentations to clients, must be a team player, and have the ability to respond to clients' needs promptly. In addition, the candidate must be goal-oriented and have the ability to compose and deliver strong sales presentations; must be creative, motivated, and a self-starter. College degree in marketing or other related field and a minimum of two years TV sales experience is required.
