CURRENT KENS 5 POSITION : Broadcast Technician
KENS 5 Television, the Belo Corp-owned CBS affiliate in San Antonio, TX is currently accepting resumes
for a full-time broadcast technician.
Broadcast Technicians are responsible for all technical systems at the television station including the transmitter site. The successful candidate will have 5 years of technical experience in a broadcast environment and 3 years experience managing projects with demonstrated ability to deliver on time. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both technical and non-technical environments are necessary. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Associates Degree in a related field is desired.

CURRENT KENS 5 POSITION : Experienced Account Executive
KENS Television, Inc., part of the Belo Corporation, is currently recruiting an Experienced Account Executive. The sales account executive is responsible for selling multi-platform initiatives, including internet sales, new business development, negotiating, and maximizing shares of existing accounts. The successful candidate will have proven effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to compose and deliver strong sales presentations. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field and a minimum of two years experience in TV sales is required. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to respond to clients’ needs promptly.
