ROUND ROCK, Texas -- A Round Rock man took matters into his owns hands after his political signs were stolen.
For the past week Doug McLean says his election signs supporting President Barack Obama were being stolen, so he hid in the bushes last night to catch the man behind the act, and he got his sign back.
There are political signs all throughout the Teravista neighborhood. Many of them pro-Obama.
McLean and his neighbors kept putting them out and say someone kept stealing them.
McLean says he was waiting with a camera and a camcorder Wednesday night and caught Jacob Koble red handed. McLean says he demanded his sign back, but that didn't happen.
"Right where that sign is, went over there, pulled this sign out, and wadded up like this and pulled this sign out and start walking over here to get this other sign," said McLean.
Police issued Koble a class C misdemeanor. Koble told reporters he is facing a fine of $50 or less.
