GRAND PRAIRIE - Crews found the body of 45-year-old Ed Thompson in Joe Pool Lake Wednesday morning.
Thompson was reported missing after his wife said he never returned home after he went to the lake Monday evening to train for an upcoming triathlon.
Wednesday morning, Grand Prairie Police resumed their search, finding Thompson's body about 50 yards from the shoreline in the swim beach area.
