2 dead in small plane crash near Houston

HOUSTON (AP) — Two people are dead after a small plane crashed into a hangar at a small Houston-area airport.

Authorities in Harris County report that the crash after 7 p.m. Sunday occurred when the pilot was returning the plane to the runway at David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport in Spring, northwest of Houston. The plane appears to have clipped one hangar before crashing into another.

The two victims were not immediately identified.
