DALLAS — Police are looking for the person who shot and killed an apartment complex security guard in South Dallas late Friday night.
Investigators said the gunfire erupted at 11:10 p.m. at the Pecan Way Apartment complex in the 5100 block of Bonnie View Road.
The guard was robbed and his gun was stolen. He was identified as Rufino Hernandez of Dallas, who would have been 43 years old on Monday.
The gunman was described by witnesses as a short man who was wearing all black clothing.
