HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police have arrested a man suspected of killing three people and wounding three others in a fight after an apparent dance floor argument.

Police on Friday announced 31-year-old Harold "Scooby" Brown has been charged with capital murder and remains in custody. Police say Brown was arrested Thursday. Further details were not immediately available from jail or criminal court officials.

Police say the incident began early Sept. 2 inside Club ICU when two women were dancing and one apparently bumped another. The dispute moved into the parking lot where a fight broke out.

Gunfire killed Gilbert Kibble, Curtis Stewart and Felipe Castillo. Three women suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police had no immediate information Friday on whether Brown knew any of the victims.
