SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The Air Force says it's completed its investigation of the sex scandal embroiling basic training instructors at a Texas air base.
The commander of the Air Education and Training Command said Friday that the command has completed its investigation of the scandal at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
In a statement, Air Force Gen. Edward A. Rice Jr. said he was reviewing the findings and recommendations of the review. Select members of Congress and other government officials have been briefed, and he said a report was expected after Air Force leaders are briefed late next month.
Six instructors have been charged in all, and a dozen more remain under investigation.
