NOONDAY, Texas (AP) — A 47-year-old woman has died after her parked recreational vehicle caught fire in East Texas.
Smith County First Assistant Fire Marshal Oren Hale says the fire broke out Sunday afternoon at the RV park in Noonday, located about 10 miles southwest of Tyler.
Hale says the materials used to build the RV, like many manufactured homes, meant it burned quickly. He says it was unclear what caused the fire.
Park owner and manager James Westberry tells the Tyler Morning Telegraph (http://bit.ly/Ii0p8C) that the woman, whose name was not immediately released, had lived in the park for about 10 days.
