UPDATE: Terrell Hills SWAT situation end with suspect in custody

A swat situation last night in the Terrell Hills neighborhood ends with one suspect in custody.

TERELL HILLS, TEXAS - The man shot by police after A SWAT situation Saturday night in Terrell Hills was identified Monday.

Just around 6:30 p.m. Saturday police were in the 300 block of Elizabeth Road talking 62-year-old Jerome Parma sitting on the curb. Police said he became agitated and went into a home.

They then heard a gunshot from inside.

Police immediately called out SWAT to the scene and officers tried to get in contact with Parma for several hours. During that time, several more shots could be heard from inside the home.

Officials said more than four hours later the man came outside but refused to listen to them. Police say he was shot once and taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center where he's now in serious but stable condition.

Terrell Hills police said Parma is charged with deadly conduct.
