PHOTOS: S.A. 5th grader heads to Vegas for 'AGT' competition
He's on his way to Vegas but will 10-year-old Sebastien De La Cruz make the cut to the next level of America's Got Talent? In the June 4 episode of the show the fifth grader from Salinas Elementary in the Judson ISD impressed judges Sharon Osbourne, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel. Well, as you might have guessed, Sebastien is not unaccustomed to praise. His spokesperson, Cynthia Munoz, says Sebastien, who has been singing since the age of 5, has won numerous awards across Texas for his renditions of traditional mariachi music. To help him along his way to stardom, Chef Johnny Hernandez opened up Casa Hernan for a preview party/fundraiser Wednesday night. Family, friends and San Antonio well-wishers applaud Sebastien and his amazing talent.
NOTE: If you missed this opportunity to check out this eclectic Southtown venue, Hernandez says he will soon be showcasing special dinners and cooking classes at Casa Hernan located on Cevallos Street. Look for those developments in September.
