PHOTOS: Dogs show they can be pussycats too at Pet Expo

Local pet lovers gathered at the San Antonio Pet Expo held Saturday, August 4 at Freeman Coliseum's Expo Hall. According to Brook Beck with Paws of Texas Rescue, Allen the dog trainer from SA Superior K-9s set a record by clipping nails of over 265 dogs in one day. Shelters like Scurvy Dog Rescue made adoption easy. The expo also included low-cost vaccinations, entertainment, pet health awareness booths, agility demos and a pet costume contest.
