The Landa Library is small, but oh so big on charming. This shady, cool spot in a faux bois grove just makes you want to sit outside and read. Kids climb and swing on the playscape across the lawn, but this is the best of spots for afternoon reveries. Located in Monte Vista on Bushnell Ave. across from Trinity University, the library is a former mansion built in 1929. Many of its original features, indoors and out, have been beautifully maintained.
