St. Mary Catholic Church is often referred to as High Hill Church. It is probably the loveliest of the painted churches. Tour guide, Sharon Rankin, says some just want to spend the rest of their time in this church. The warm hues calm and make you the more reflective. It is gorgeous in every aspect.
If you go, remember to stop in at the old refectory next door. The St. Ann's auxiliary has a gift shop in the beautifully restored building (note the leaded-glass pocket doors.)
