From tiny pups to massive English Mastiffs, there was quite a range of lovable dogs at the San Antonio Pet Expo Saturday at Freeman Coliseum. And if you didn't already have a pet, you could adopt one from one of several agencies that toted in crates of anxious animals. Puppies were adopted quickly said a staffer from Animal Care Services. But, what about those 'gentle giants'? There were several sweet-tempered Great Danes looking for homes, too. The Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare (AAPAW) - the agency that hosted the mega-adoption area- can put you in touch with a shelter or rescue group so you can find the perfect pet for your family.
