SAN ANTONIO - A person's throat was slit at a southwest-side McDonald's on Monday afternoon, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

SAFD said emergency crews responded to a call for a cutting in progress around 2:15 p.m at the McDonald's in the 2100 block of Southwest Military Drive.

UPDATE: When SAFD arrived on the scene they found one person with a laceration to the throat. That person, who hasn't been identified, was transported to the nearest hospital with serious injuries.

SAPD said, "all indications point to the woman cutting herself in the throat,".
