SAPD: Bat attack, shooting suspect arrested

SAN ANTONIO -- Police said one man was arrested and another on the lose after luring other men to a garage and then beating them with a baseball bat.

The victims survived the attack back in early March.

Police said Nathan Losoya, 18, was arrested in connection with this incident that happened in the 21000 block of Rio Comal.

The victims reportedly gave a so-called female friend a ride to that address.

Police said the female told the men more girls were at the garage where they were going to meet, under false pretenses.

According to investigators, Losoya and another man were the only people at that locaiton.

The victims said they fought back but were beaten with bats, they were also shot as they managed to escape.

Losoya told police the attack was payback because the victims had robbed him.

He was released on bond, but Losoya was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

His accomplice is also wanted in connection with this incident.
