1979: Sniper fires into Battle of Flowers crowds
Ida Attaberry barricaded himself inside his RV and began randomly firing into the crowd who had gathered for the parade along Broadway Rd. A standoff occurred and by the time the bullets stopped flying - four people, including Attaberry were dead.
