Deadly home invasion

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas -- Bexar County deputies arrested two men in connection to a deadly home invasion on the city’s north side over the weekend.

Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau said Jason Marino and Ethan Yost, both 18-years-old, are each charged with capital murder.

The man killed was 37-year-old Ilton Miles of Schertz.

Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for a shooting in the 4000 block of TPC Parkway around 10 p.m.

Witnesses reportedly told deputies it all began when a woman knocked on the apartment door. When someone in the apartment opened the door, two men in bandanas hiding behind the woman forced their way inside.

BCSO said one of the men fired several shots inside the apartment, hitting the victim at least one time.

The gunman left the scene and is believed to have fled the complex in a white car.

The man had been shot in the back, according to BCSO.

The victim was airlifted to University Hospital, but died before reaching the hospital.
