Man wanted for murder in teen's Whataburger shooting death

Patrols are being ramped up on the northeast side of San Antonio.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas - Robert Allen, 25, is wanted for the murder of a teenager, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.

"He is considered armed and dangerous," Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.

BCSO said Allen is accused of shooting 15-year-old Noel Reyna to death at a northeast-side Whataburger.

As KENS 5 reported, the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Monday. in the 7700 block of FM 78.

Reyna’s murder marks the third in less than two months in northeast San Antonio.

Due to the increase in crime, Bexar County is working with several agencies to increase patrols on FM 78 and help prevent violence.

The sheriff’s office also set up a mobile command post on FM 78 and Walzem Road.

Salazar is encouraging residents to stop by and find out how to report suspicious activity in the community.
