Vision Zero to host walk remembering crash victims

SAN ANTONIO – Vision Zero San Antonio is walking to remember those who have been killed in roadway crashes.

Vision Zero’s mission is to achieve zero fatalities on roadways. They establish that the loss of even one life or serious injury on our roads is unacceptable.

Sunday is the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Victims and Vision Zero invites people to a walk of silence to remember traffic victims from all over the state of Texas.

Participants can bring photos, flowers, and other items to show the lives lost are more than just a number. This walk is in their honor.

The walk begins at 10:30 a.m. at Alamo Plaza and ends at Main Plaza at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., but you can register early at VisionZeroSA.com where the first 300 registrants will receive a free t-shirt.
