VIDEO: Woman tries to run car into men during struggle at S.A. AutoZone

A viral video making the rounds on Facebook this week depicts a chaotic scene that recently took place outside of a south-side AutoZone.

The 7-minute long video was captured by a bystander at the AutoZone in the 1600 block of Southwest Military Drive and posted to Facebook Monday around 11 p.m.

The beginning of the video shows several individuals, possibly workers, struggling with a man a robbery suspect, while a woman yells at the group and another employee makes a phone call, presumably to police.

At one point, one of the men subduing the suspect can be heard telling the man, “You bit me. That’s assault.”

As the men continue to struggle, the woman walks off screen.

Shortly after, a white Chevrolet sedan pulls into the parking lot, driving into the sidewalk area where the men are struggling.

The driver then pulls the car around the parking lot and comes back to the group of men, in what appears to be a second attempt to strike some of them with the car.

The driver appears to be the same woman arguing with the group in the beginning. She eventually pulls away after running up onto the sidewalk a couple more times.

The suspect can be heard yelling “My wife is pregnant” numerous times before and after the woman leaves the scene.

A police officer arrived a short time later, handcuffed the suspect and placed him in the squad car.

Police later confirmed to KENS 5 that 33-year-old Anthony Corona was arrested for Robbery. He was released around 3 a.m. Tuesday on a $20,000 bond.

There was no word on any charges for the woman driving the car.

You can see the entire 7-minute confrontation in the video below.
