SAN ANTONIO - Two 18-year-olds have been charged with murder after a man was shot and killed during a drug deal on the east-side around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office charged Michael Aguilar and Charles Robnett in the murder of Gary Barnhardt.
The fatal shooting reportedly happened during a drug deal. Robnett and Aguilar met up with Barnhardt to purchase marijuana. The now deceased victim was in the vehicle with another man by the name of Albert Ramirez.
Robnett and Aguilar approached Barnhardt's front passenger window and Robnett allegedly began firing into the vehicle after Ramirez handed them the marijuana.
Ramirez drove Barnhardt to a nearby grocery store and called police.
Barnhardt was transported to the hospital where he later died. Ramirez suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Robnett faces the charge of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Aguilar was also charged with murder.
Bexar County officials say the pair met Barnhardt through an app before the drug deal took place.
Both could face up to 99 years in prison.
