Two injured in shooting on S.A.'s northwest side

Man shot trying to break up fight

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were injured on San Antonio’s northwest side.

The San Antonio Police Department got a call around 10 p.m. for a shooting at 200 block of Cliffwood. SAPD said that a couple of men were arguing outside a residence when a Hispanic male in his late 30s tried to break up the fight.

He was shot, and the suspects fled the scene.

The victim was transported to University Hospital where his condition was stable and was not considered life-threatening. Police believe a second shooting victim drove himself to the hospital to be treated. 

There is currently no information on that victim or how he is related to the scene.

This case is under investigation, and will post updates when more information is available.
