Two arrested for murder over money, police say

SAPD: Two arrested for murder over money

SAN ANTONIO -- Two people are facing murder charges after being accused of shooting a man over an argument about money.

There were several witnesses to this shooting who knew each other making it easier for police to track the couple down.

Raul Garza, 40, and August Fisher were arrested Tuesday night.

Police said last Tuesday the two suspects argued with 36-year old Isisdro Lopez over money at the Hilltop Oaks Apartment on Ingram Road.

According to their arrest affidavit's, Fisher provided the gun but Garza is the one who shot Lopez twice. He was shot once in the chest and a second time in the back as he tried to run away.

The victim managed to get to a nearby apartment but collapsed and died.

The couple then took off in a pickup truck.

One of the witnesses was able to give investigators the suspects’ number and social media info. That same witness was able to identify both Garza and Fisher in a photo lineup.

She said Garza had known the victim for two years.
