Seguin teen arrested after stabbing salon employee in the neck

PD: Man goes in for haircut, stabs stylist

SEGUIN – A Seguin teen was in custody Tuesday after stabbing a salon employee multiple times.

According to Lt. Mike McCann with the Seguin Police Department, Isaac Isaiah Sosa Jr., 18, went to Glamour Hair Studio in Seguin for a haircut just before noon.

Once in the salon, Sosa reportedly became confrontational and engaged one or more employees in an argument. The teen left, but returned a short time later with a blade and stabbed one employee numerous times, including at least once in the neck.

Roxanne Rosales, the owner of the salon, said the employee, a man in his 40s, was stabbed while protecting her and a client from the teen. Rosales said that the victim was stabbed six times during the incident.

The victim was taken by AirLIFE to SAMMC from the Guadalupe Regional for emergency surgery. Rosales said he was in stable condition but remained in the Intensive Care Unit Tuesday evening. It was not clear what condition the victim was in.

Sosa was arrested on scene for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to a Seguin hospital before being transported to the Comal County jail.
