Seguin Police Acts of Kindness

SEGUIN, Texas – One Seguin Police Officer’s random act of kindness makes one young boy’s day.

SPD posted Officer Brandon Smith’s story on their Facebook page Monday.

According to the post, Officer Smith was investigating a home burglary when he discovered burglars had stolen 9-year-old Aiden's Xbox, TV and games.

Aiden was heartbroken, not only because the thefts took his console, but because it was a gift from his father.

Seeing Aiden’s disappointment, Officer Smith drove to his house grabbed his own PS3 game system and gave it to Aiden, according to the post.

Aiden was so happy and grateful for the act of kindness Officer Smith showed.

Chief Kevin Kelso was quoted saying what Officer Smith did was one of the most selfless gestures he has seen.
