SAPD releases surveillance footage of suspect in deadly hit-and-run

San Antonio police have released footage of a suspect they believe responsible for the hit-and-run death of a woman outside of a south-side bar in late August.

Surveillance footage captured inside of the Wild Rhino Sports Bar on Southwest Military shows the victim, Pauline Elizondo, arguing with the suspect shortly before the incident.

Elizondo and another female victim were struck by a pickup truck in Wild Rhino's parking lot, believed to be operated by the man in the video. Police said the suspect's vehicle is a red or maroon full-size truck with a possible lift-kit.

Police said they believe the verbal altercation in the video may have led to the hit-and-run.

Both women were transported to the hospital where Elizondo later succumbed to her injuries. The second victim suffered a broken wrist.

If you have any information on the man in the video, you are asked to call SAPD at 224-STOP.
