Road rage triggers man to shoot pellet gun at cars

Man arrested, accused in pellet gun spree

BEXAR COUNTY --  Shattered glass and a bullet hole in the center of a passenger seat are just some of what investigators found Saturday.

"There were numerous pellet guns, ammunitions, so all that was confiscated," said Rosanne Hughes with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Luis Hernandez, 20, had all of that in his silver Volvo. Investigators say that he is responsible for the window damage and a lot more, including the most recent incident in Bulverde on Saturday night.

"There had been a road rage incident. The deputies called other deputies to assist and they were able to apprehend the individual," Hughes said.

She added that Hernandez shot at a car with three people in it at a Bill Miller's Restaurant on 281.

Hughes said that there are a total of eight victims near the Bulverde Villages Subdivision. Luckily, no one was hurt but she believes there could be more victims out there.

"The pellet gun looks like a Magnum 357," she said.

Why he shot at other cars is still under investigation.

"Young people can reenact things they saw in violent video games,” Hughes said. “That’s a possibility."

Hernandez is facing deadly conduct charges.
