Police seek man who slipped bank teller note demanding cash

CASTLE HILLS – Police are searching for the identity of a man donning sunglasses who slipped a teller a note demanding cash at a Castle Hills bank.

The incident happened around 9:30 Monday morning when Castle Hills police said the man contacted a teller at First Convenience Bank located inside an H-E-B in the 600 block of West Avenue.

Police said the man handed the teller a note demanding money in the cash drawer. The note said if the teller complied with the demand no one would get hurt, according to police.

Frightened, the teller complied and handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash before he calmly exited the store.

Police said he left in a silver passenger vehicle.

Officials believe the man cased the bank and store just minutes before approaching the bank teller.
