Police searching for driver who hit cyclist

SAN ANTONIO – Police continue to search for the driver who hit and killed a cyclist in August.

The accident happened on Aug. 19 when someone driving a white van ran into a biker in the 1100 block of North New Braunfels.

The driver took off without rendering aid to the cyclist and the victim died as a result of their injuries from the crash.

Police said the van most likely has damage to the front and missing parts.

If you have any information on the driver’s identity, call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP. You may earn up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
