Police: Cell phone thief threatened to kill Walmart employee

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Police are asking for your help in finding the man who went into Walmart, stole a phone and threatened to kill an employee.

On Wednesday, November 15, the man asked an employee to look at a new cell phone. This was at the Walmart on West Military Drive. When the employee placed the cell phone on the counter, the man grabbed the cell phone.

The employee also grabbed the cell phone, and they got into a struggle. That is when the suspect threatened to kill the employee if the employee did not release the phone. The suspect also appeared to be reaching for a weapon, according to the Crime Stoppers report.

The employee released the phone and man took off from the store.
