Piñatas and cocktails, how locals are blowing off Election Day steam

Election Day Cocktails

SAN ANTONIO -- This Election Day has some people drowning their sorrows with special cocktails inspired by the presidential candidates, while other are smashing piñatas that look just like Trump and Clinton.

People are flocking to “Fiesta on Main” but not for the turkeys. That's for the birds.

Instead, they’re buying up their Presidential candidate's rival so they can take out their pinned up election aggression as the results roll in.

And in case you prefer to sip to show your support, there's a recipe for that too.

The General Public at the Rim is serving up Trumptinis with Caviar and gold flakes and Hillaritas made with Tequila. The Hillarita even comes with one server, the bartender said so it doesn’t “Wilileak” all over you.

The sign on the door even reads “Pick Your Poison.”

The General Public is also throwing in free appetizers, with a purchase of any menu item, to patrons wearing an "I Voted" sticker.
