One dead, one hospitalized after motorcycle collides with gravel truck

BANDERA COUNTY - One person is dead after a motorcycle collided with a gravel truck in Bandera County Saturday.

Officials with the Bandera County Sheriff's Office told KENS 5 a husband and wife were riding a motorcycle when it collided with the gravel truck in the 500 block of English Crossing Road, about 4 miles southeast of Bandera.

Officials said the couple got pinned under the truck.

The man, who was driving the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was transported to University Hospital in critical condition.

Details as to how the two vehicles collided remains unclear. DPS is currently investigating the accident. Bandera County deputies assisted with traffic control at the scene.
