Shooting leaves 3 injured, suspect on the run on northeast side

SAN ANTONIO - At least three people were injured in a late-night shootout on the city’s northeast side.

Police said shots rang out just before midnight in the 4000 block of Sunrise Cove Drive near Binz-Engleman and North Foster.

One victim was hit in the face, one in the arm, and one in the leg. All three people are expected to survive.

Police said they are looking for a black or dark colored SUV.

So far, police have not made any arrests and there is no word on what caused the shooting.
