The alleged killers reportedly over-powered the victim and assaulted him for several hours before killing him.

SAN ANTONIO - Police made two arrests in connection with the brutal murder of a man found dead near an abandoned building on the northeast side.

Edward Hudson and Edward Grant are now facing murder charges after the body of Rashad Ladson was found near a building on Rittiman Road October 8.

Police said the building is often used by homeless people in the area. The deceased man allegedly showed up to the spot with a gun to rob those occupying the space, according to police.

The group allegedly over-powered Ladson, pistol whipping and beating him with a board before tying him up and assaulting him for two hours. He was then dragged to a nearby fence.

Anyone with more information on this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
