Man who threatened S.A. strip shooting has lengthy criminal past

SAN ANTONIO - The 39-year-old man arrested for threatening to shoot up the San Antonio strip on Tuesday has a criminal past dating back to 1998.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Roderick Robinson's arrests range from writing bogus checks, eluding police, possessing illegal drugs, to making bomb threats.

Robinson was arrested for making a bomb threat in Oklahoma City back in 2009.

Then 30, Robinson was accused of taking a backpack into a federal building and giving two notes to security that stated there was a bomb in his backpack and one in a vehicle parked outside.

The gesture later proved to be a hoax.

After he threatened to shoot up the San Antonio strip earlier this week, the 39-year-old is now charged with terrorism hoax.
