UPDATE: John Peace Library at UTSA reopened after bomb threat

UPDATE: Within an hour of UTSA confirming that the John Peace Library on campus had been evacuated so that police could investigate a bomb threat, UTSA announced that the library had been reopened and that students were allowed back in.

Several students complained on social media that the school only let students know about the threat shortly after it was called off.

UTSA has confirmed that the John Peace Library on campus has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

UTSA says that the campus police department is investigating.

According to a UTSA spokesperson, the school has no reason to believe that this is anything but a random threat, but that they are taking the necessary precautions.
