SAN ANTONIO -- Shouting phrases like "This is what democracy looks like" hundreds packed the Galleria EVA Sunday.
They're supporters of Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein. They made it clear they want their voices heard.
"There is only one choice which is not poisoned by corporate money, by lobbyist money, by super pack ,by the predatory banks, by the fossil fuel giants," Stein said.
Stein graduated from Harvard Medical School in the late 1970s. She's been working as a physician for decades and hopes to bring, what she calls, evolutionary politics to the table.
"We celebrate the immigrants, we end deportations, we end detention and we shut down private prisons," said Stein.
The Green Party candidate spoke to her supporters about ending student debt, making college free for everyone and conserving the planet, among other things.
"Jill Stein evokes that leadership. I see it. She's passionate about us and the cause of saving our planet," Eric Hernandez said.
People at the gathering said they couldn't imagine voting for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
"I don't believe in their message, and I don't believe they're for regular working people like myself," said Simone Moorman.
Stein is headed to Austin for another gathering Monday.
