Scobee Middle School was on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a possible suspicious person was reported in the area.

Bexar County authorities said a group of four men broke into a home near the SWISD school. Deputies searched a two-mile radius and managed to find and arrest three suspects. But a third is still on the loose.

SWISD put Francis R.Scobee Middle School, located at Marbach and Pue Road, and Big Country Elementary School, across the street from Scobee, were placed on a precautionary lockdown while  deputies conducted a neighborhood search for the suspects.

The lockdowns have since been lifted, although that fourth suspect is still at large.

School was dismissed at 2:30 p.m.
