SAN ANTONIO -- One must know they're in select canine (and feline) company when there's a dog with more than 600 Facebook friends and a 180-pound Brindle English Mastiff donning regal red attire.
Pet owners and pet lovers gathered outside the Grand Hyatt on Saturday, April 14, 2012 for the Coronation of the 2012 El Rey Fido 2012 Court.
Presented by the San Antonio Humane Society, El Rey Fido celebrates the city's pets and their owners who raise the most money for orphaned animals at the Humane Society.
Sir Dexter, otherwise known as El Rey Fido X, wasn't available for comment, but certainly made his presence known.
