BEXAR COUNTY - A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Rocksprings, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Uvalde counties from 7 p.m. tonight through 7 p.m. Thursday.
KENS 5 Meteorologist Paul Mireles said there's potential for flash flooding across the western half of Central Texas through Thursday thanks to Pacific moisture combined with gulf moisture and disturbances in the atmosphere.
The biggest threat will be small stream and river flooding for our western counties tonight through Thursday.
Rainfall amounts for areas west of Highway 83 could be 4 to 8 inches with isolated 10 inches amounts.
Central sections of the viewing area including Bexar county will likely receive 2-3 inches of rain over the next few days.
Eastern counties generally less than 1-2 inches.
