Crime Stoppers offering $5,000 for hit and run suspect

SAN ANTONIO - Crime Stoppers is offering $5,000 for information leading to an arrest of a suspect responsible for a west-side hit and run.

The incident happened on Monday April 3.

SAPD said 20-year-old John Sanchez suffered injuries to his face, hands, arms, and entire body after a white minivan slammed into him.

He was on a walk with his father at the time in the 100 block of West Broadview.

Witnesses reported that the minivan fled the scene southbound on West Broadview with damage to the front of the vehicle.

The suspect or suspects are accused of failure to stop and render aid.
