Couple killed in alleged DUI crash with Fort Sam PD sergeant leave behind 4 kids

SAN ANTONIO-- A San Antonio couple has been identified as victims of a head-on crash Saturday involving a Fort Sam police sergeant, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

Rosa Arias, 39, and Jose Arias, 36, were reportedly on their way home from their 5-year-old son's flag football game when Justin Fey, 49, collided with the couple's car head on Loop 1604 in east Bexar County around noon.

Both Rosa and Jose Arias were killed on impact, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. Three of the Arias' four children were in the backseat of the car and were all hospitalized following the crash. The children remained in the hospital Monday, but deputies said they were expected to survive.

Fey,  a sergeant at Joint Base San Antonio, has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, two counts of intoxication assault and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Friends of the family have established a bank account to help with long-term care of the four children who are now without their parents. An account for monetary donations has been set up at Chase bank on their behalf. The information is listed below:
