SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Fire Marshal's Office said those across our area should not burn today in light of high wind speeds expected to sweep Central Texas.
A wind advisory has been issued for a number of counties across Central Texas until midnight Thursday. Wind speeds could reach up to 45 miles per hour.
Windy conditions are expected behind a cold front that will arrive this morning. NW winds will be 20-30 mph w/gusts up to 40 mph. Elevated fire weather conditions are expected in the Rio Grande Plains. Drivers should use extra caution on the road and lightweight objects outside your residence should be moved inside.
