Burning not recommended Thursday in light of wind advisory

There is not an active burn ban, but there is a wind advisory until midnight Thursday night with winds that could reach 45 miles an hour. Fire officials are also warn to be careful while driving and working outdoors tonight.

SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Fire Marshal's Office said those across our area should not burn today in light of high wind speeds expected to sweep Central Texas.

A wind advisory has been issued for a number of counties across Central Texas until midnight Thursday. Wind speeds could reach up to 45 miles per hour.



Drivers should use extra caution on the road and lightweight objects outside your residence should be moved inside.
