SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s own Bracken Cave and its inhabitants will be making their television debut on National Geographic’s groundbreaking global television event.

We’re talking about Earth Live.

Earth Live will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch who will be taking viewers across the world in real time.

Get ready because on July 9, you can experience the two-hour premiere of Earth Live with an edge-of-your-seat view of the natural world. This magnitude of this event is described to be as big as the Super Bowl or Olympics.

“I’m excited and honored to host National Geographic’s EARTH LIVE,” Lynch said in a release. “It’s going to be a groundbreaking, beautiful and action-packed wildlife symposium that will help viewers from all across the world better understand the animals that live around them.”

Along with Lynch, animal expert, zoologist and naturalist Chris Packham will give viewers access to key locations across six continents from South America to Asia and everywhere in between. It will be shot by the world’s greatest wildlife cinematographers with no editing involved.

Bracken Cave will be one of the featured locations in the premiere episode. The cameras will capture the 20 million Mexican free-tailed bats as they leave their cave.
