Adidas is issuing an apology for an email they sent after this week's Boston Marathon.
The subject line that was emailed was a little 'too soon' for some.
After Monday's grueling race, Adidas issued an email that said, "Congrats, you survived the Boston Marathon."
Those who got the email quickly took to Facebook upset that they were not more sensitive with their wording.
You'll remember in 2013 three people were killed and more than 260 others wounded when two bombs went off near the finish line.
Adidas quickly apologized with this tweet saying how sorry they were and that "clearly, there was no thought given to the insensitive email subject line."
Unfortunately, now Adidas is joining United Airlines and Pepsi with the PR nightmares.
