SAN ANTONIO-- Women's Super Fitness enjoyed 15 years in San Antonio, but the general manager says the idea is just no longer popular.
Adam Bair said the owners invested about $800,000 into two clubs over the past three years. The location in Leon Valley closed Thursday afternoon. The club at 2341 N.W. Military Hwy. closed October 3 due to delinquent rent.
Several employees said they are still owed a few paychecks. Bair said those employees can expect payment within the next six days.
Current club members were transferred to two Gold's Gym health clubs. Employees were told they could seek opportunities at that franchise.
